Cant think of the name but its the Dutch Company that operate out of Holland and also Canada they do import flower to here but so do others.

They grow a lot here to tons and tons of it some of it is being supplied locally but most of what we grow is exported and i bet a lot of that makes its way to the legal rec market in Canada to.

They are all slowly going broke Donald share holders will be left holding the empty bags.

Once country's like Mexico Thailand alone start to produce and export the ass will fall out of the industry here pot will be worth far less than any of them here can produce it for.

Its happening now they are all loosing money have for years.

yea i hear them saying that ,
crazy they are exporting to a place they import from,
something wrong there for sure ,
tthey say we have so much we can export , but at the same time they import to fill the gaps ,
now my maths isnt always perfect , but that doesnt add up somehow ,, lol ...

for sure once 3rd world countries with lower overheads get in on the game the show is over for the other guys,
they can probably produce a kilo for 10 bux or less , vs hundreds in places like australia and canada/usa ...
plus with better climates for outdoor , their weed should be better as long as they have good quality control ...

Just sit back mate fly under the radar and in a short time things will change the industry as we know it will go bust we will get law reforms but numbers wont be large . Just grow them big.

They have been saying for years it will end up being a cottage industry and i agree it will end up being like say scotch you will have the cheep stuff and the more rare and expensive types.

Be lots of smaller set ups and family operated type operations.

No shareholders no executive salary's.

take this shit back to mns piff cat ,
dont post it here please , we have had enough of the nevil vs sam rubbish,
and stay there too if you want to post this sort of divisive stuff ,
we dont need more posts that create arguments because they are based on misinformation and bias...

I'm just curious where the misinformation is? If it's a haze thread I'm trying to cut thru the bs and actually learn about haze. To me nevil was just as obsessed with haze as all of us. If we could just take his observations with these plants and move forward might actually figure something out. Seems like the standard of proof in this thread is ... cuz I said so. What progress is being made? Just this week I've made an actual scientific discovery on hazes progenitors following nevs and dj9 ideas. I wish we could actually discuss it, but apparently this is more about popularity then science. Anyone could look at the evidence and see that something was very different and primordial in haze a and c. Here are some profiles of the plants which form the small se asian clade which includes nevs progeny. Take a look at the linalool and cbg.....

Well they can if you have more than 2 plants, and if those plants weigh more than 50 grams (dry) or 150 (wet). Not only that, but if the plants are grown under lights then they can take the lot and charge you. So people in the ACT are restricted to outdoor growing, very, very, tiny plants. In practice though, I'd hope Police would be reasonable. In most places you won't get busted in most placese unless you are commercial, blatant, or unlucky. Hempy, you probably take more than 50 grams off your plants each time you deleaf them.

The ACT, for international readers, is a tiny Territory inside another State, with a population of less than half a million. It is where our Capital is (Australian Capital Territory), and the laws are different to elsewhere in Oz.

I really hope you are right. I just see big corporations being the winners. I have looked into becoming a legal medical user but the cost of doing so, and the cost of meds is prohibitive. The cost of flower for example is significantly more than the black market. I think I worked out as something like $500 per ounce, depending on what you got.

Not only that but at present setting up as a legal producer is a nightmare. So much to consider, not the least being security of your crop.

I just can't see a country like Australia, with a TGA like we have, every allowing people to produce their own meds, let alone supply others. As I said though, I do hope you are right. I would love to be able to legally grow in my lifetime.

Its not just the price of flower or extract its the cost of getting a script then the cost of monthly Doctors fees as part of the deal with getting a script you need to see a doctor for the cannabis use monthly.

The TGA only deal with Medicine and medical products they have nothing to do with Rec cannabis or laws and if a state legalized Medical cannabis use the TGA cant stop you making oil or hash growing plants if its in the bill.

Piff_cat Nevil believed Haze was a Thai / Colombia line and so dose shanti and so do others.

With out starting a new drama the plants being grown tell the story from were i sit and that comes from the High the plants give.

Any that smoked cannabis in the 70s even early 80s that smoked old school Colombians and old school Thais would know exactly what i am talking about.

You find these Highs in Haze.

Dont be discouraged......me personally I dont understand the tech properly...an most likely not everyone else does either...but I will educate myself on it now.....some of the methods piff catt is using are being used now an will be a major tool used in the future to breed....it would be nice if others who know more about this tech to support some of our youngers.....
let me do abit of research piff an il pm you to talk about some of the questions you asked me.

wonder if you can look something up for me....can you get the chart for dna's 5A or if you can find a f1 5C thats been looked at....and also something called Amsterdam mist (sometimes called Amsterdam haze)....I think one of the parents for it were selected from tens of thousands of plants....we should get a better picture if both of these have been done.

please refer to the questions for sam about haze to find the answers to your questions ,
theres heaps of info there direct from the horse's mouth,
i quoted some of it already , but it seemed to go unnoticed,
folks see and hear what they want to , particularly when it doesnt agree with their ideas and theories ...

its already been hashed over again and again on this thread to no avail ,
hence my shortness and abruptness ,
so please go and read it yourself ...

i can say tom hills stuff certainly was similar to some thai stuff we had ,
maybe it was colombian x thai ,
nevil and shantis stuff , well cant say i tried any pure haze from them so thats not so easy to tell ,

i wonder what the consensus will be on todds repo,
i guess the stuff star is growing from johnny and mad mac should be assessed with that in mind ,

i suppose its possible toms and nevils has thai in it ,
but im also sure sam would have provided pure haze to folks too ,
having said that though it wouldnt be possible for nevils stuff to be from 69 and have thai in it ,
because i dont think sam came on the scene until after that , and it was he that provided the thai ....

You quoted yourself
people hear what they want to hear , proof and sams quotes are all there and saved by others. Many different quotes about O Haze ? There was Thai ? Then only 3 colombians ?.
thats whats great about Internet you cant unwrite any quotes , a forever changing story.

Bit harsh Don.

Everybody has to start somewhere. This part seems to be lost in all the haze.

He did his job as a breeder like every other great breeder has done before and will do after, find and source the best-proven P1s you can get your hands on. Whether you developed the P1 or not makes no odds in the end. You're judged on the quality of the offspring.

To Nev's credit before the internet, he got on the road and sought out northern lights and haze from others (Exceptional Stock). Anybody that has done breeding in other domains will know unproven Dam's/Sire's is a waste of time, energy, money, resources and life.

The odds are still stacked against you, with two ELITE P1s, just a slightly higher % of finding something exceptional.

Whatever beef Nev and Sam had with each other is their business. I'm not sure what more needs to be said.

Last weekend we were in the studio doing some mixing work, i only brought some original haze buds for me and my buddy...
Not yet cured(1 month only), it smoked smooth and nice, a bit sharp on the throat but manageable.
The effect was almost instant, mild at first, started creeping and rising the highness over half hour. We were in a state of bliss and happyness with a hint of speed increase, compared to almost any other smoke.
A guy who was not smoking said the herb seemed kind of sharp, ithink this is the way most couch lovers identify a sativa vibe
Pulse was increased so we finished the work earlier than expected, we previously smoked hybrids and got lazier with every toke. Not with haze, it keeps you active even when sitting down :)
The smell was of frankincense and slight mint sharpness, a kind of medicinal vibe to her.

Cheers

This post from Johnny perfectly describes the type of highs people were experiencing with Haze lines even 12 years ago.

This is what i meant when i posted i am not reading people experiencing the Haze highs of old in current smoke reports.

I dont think the genetics are to blame what i think is less numbers are being grown by people and people are just not finding that plants they need to be selecting for.

What are your thoughts on this.

Hempy, what you have seen online or from seed. The decline. Has begun in Holland 22 years ago.
"Online" it's happening only with 10 years delay.
Basically the lifespan of a seed.
