You still claim to not post false narratives. What Trump did was not legal. It was nothing but a political move. You cant use the DOJ for political purposes. You need evidence to do what they did and there was none. Derp .

How do you know there was none? And, what makes you assume it was politically motivated?

hmm, seeing that some of these monitoring activities were directed against congress members
spying on the legislative branch
going out on a limb here but how could this be described as other than political?
and if you don't have a problem with it, then it should be legal now
and we can squeeze out some of Mitch's darkest secrets

How can it be described as anything other than political, you ask. Well, if it were related to CRIMINAL activities. The difference is whether, or not, there was a LAWFUL warrant.
I'd also like to get some of those dark, secret McConnel Squeazings ( wait, that doesn't sound right, but I believe it's grammerically correct. So, I'll just leave it).

The DOJ rep is extremely fragile at the moment. Letting all those crooks do as they please won't stand for long. As soon as that trust crumbles there won't be any law and order as we know it. If that's what you wish for better stock up on something to defend yourselves or perish with the meek.

I wonder if and when Billy Barr testifies before Congress about this.
Can’t wait!
:lurk:

Barr can't just pick people to spy on. I'd like to see what was presented to the grand jury that approved those warrants. I suspect a lot of BS was told to that jury.

I have to say it's pretty hilarious the left up in arms, the DOJ has been the law enforcement wing of the democratic party for years. You do realize democratic members of congress, were illegally obtaining phone records of other members of congress.

If the left didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have any standards.

I didn't realize they went before a grand jury. So, it's obviously just another CNN hoax. Impeac the grand jury, oh wait you can't do that.

The DOJ's internal watchdog confirmed on Friday that it would investigate the subpoenas, as well as recently revealed ones initiated against reporters at multiple news outlets.

“The review will examine the Department’s compliance with applicable DOJ policies and procedures, and whether any such uses, or the investigations, were based upon improper considerations,” Michael Horowitz, DOJ’s inspector ceneral, said in a statement.

Is this the Horowitz report that you were always saying was going to be a bombshell?

Will you believe him if he says they "were based upon improper considerations?"

I mean... Horowitz report.

It's the same Horrowitz, I think, but the big report from him already came out. That was the one that showed that the FISA courts were defrauded and Trumps campaign and presidency were illegally spied on. It was taken over by Durham, I believe..

False narrative.

The report by the Justice Department’s independent inspector general, Michael E. Horowitz, is an exhaustive examination of a case that has reverberated throughout official Washington for more than three years. Totaling more than 400 pages, it found no evidence to back up the president’s claim that the F.B.I.’s investigations of his campaign and four former aides were inspired and tainted by political bias.

But in a finding that President Trump is certain to seize on, the report documented a pattern of omissions, errors and inconsistencies in the bureau’s applications for warrants to eavesdrop on Carter Page, a former Trump campaign aide.

Feel free to point out in the report, that stuff that you're claiming.

These people will never have an honest conversation. They have a hive mind. Acknowledging the truth would destroy there entire being. You have to remember they have 5 plus years of there lives heavily invested in orange man bad. Without Trump as there Boogieman, they have no meaning, no purpose, and no life.

It's hard not to laugh, just remember it's not nice to mock people for there mental illness. When the damn breaks, and they are forced to address the 5 years of propaganda, most will have severe mental breakdowns. A few will learn from it.

Harris:
Has the president or anyone at the White House ever asked or suggested that you open an investigation of anyone?

Barr: Um, I wouldn’t, uh—

Harris: Yes or no?

Barr: Could you repeat that question?

Harris: Has the president or anyone at the White House ever asked or suggested that you open an investigation of anyone? Yes or no, please, sir.

Barr: Uh, the president or anybody else—

Harris: It seems you would remember something like that and be able to tell us.

Barr: Yeah, but I’m trying to grapple with the word suggest. I mean, there have been discussions of matters out there that they have not asked me to open an investigation, but...

Harris: Perhaps they’ve suggested?

Barr: I wouldn’t say suggested—

Harris: Hinted?

Barr: I don’t know.

Harris: Inferred? You don’t know?

Turns out he did!

There is a big difference in putting a case in front of a grand jury, and falsifying evidence and 17 material omissions in multiple FISA warrants. Considering the significance foreign intelligence issues in the Democrat party, surveillance is warranted. We can't get fang-fanged again.

You guys really don't see the irony, do you?
