Not sure about this ban, but there is a Mod here who really hates Smokey for some weird reason. His last ban was because he was posting some of his pictures of his own crosses when greeting new members in the intro section I was told. Apparently, it was shilling even though he doesn't sell his seeds lmao. Anyways hope he's back.

Ya I don't get it . We need more people.like smokey . As far as banned for his own crosses I don't get it . He is just proud of his work . He has never once tried to sell me any thing even when I have shown strong interest in some of his work . Hope.to see him back soon .

it's not just this site that has turned to crickets but it sure is noticeable here.
Sorry to say that Gypsy nuked his own site and has totally lost the title of busiest weed forum on the planet. This "site upgrade" is completely retarded and clunky as hell to use.
I'm only here to showcase some OJD gear and I am doing a bunch of Karma gear so started a thread there..... but again.... crickets..... and the karma doesn't even pop in to say "hey, thanx for growing and showing my gear" ..... classy
so ya..... I'm having a real hard time accepting this new site and probably will be gone soon too,
Is there no decent Canadian weed forums? And I don't mean the clown sites with invite access or some dumb "proving yourself " bullshit before you can be a member. I mean a good ol canadian dope growing site..... does one exist?

I'm sure you have your reasons for banning him, but it's sad losing one of the better contributors that are still left on the site.
That was what was told to me when I inquired via PM with a Mod regarding his last ban. I could be wrong. Anyways no sense dragging this out.

well, just for your info guys,
i helped him to get his account back,,, (not to mention his promises he made) after that he started to spam everywhere, and we got lot of reports from various threads and users about it.. and he was angry because those unrelated pictures were removed from the threads... after it he recieved a temporary ban for a week or something.. there was no hate towards him from anyone.
after his return he put up a personal message on his profile " FK MODS" .. he was n t even banned for that.
and his final ban he got for mocking and attacking other members.
now i hope everyone is happy.

That specific user his ban was more then justified.
The moderation team on ICMag is known for its patience and personal interactions with it's members.
After repeated violations against the T.O.U. and numerous reports, several moderators started to interact with him on a personal basis this over a course of several weeks/months (as for example WHIPEDMEAT posted). This to try to have a change in his behaviour or to look where the issue might be. This was of no use.
After even a temporary corrective/disciplinary action against this user, he was given another chance but he decided to not benefit it.
The patience of the moderation team is large but not endless. The T.O.U. is to be respected in the end.
As for moderators supposed personal bias in this case is not true.
