hey, good luck! do you mean a TSW2000? I have a TSW2000 in my 3x3 flowering tent and I kinda wish I got a 4x4 tent instead with this light.

Yesterday I took a coffee can full of peat moss and soaked it in water, mixing it every thirty minutes or so to charge it and thoroughly wet the peat. I then took one and half cans of happy frog (soil from foxfarm) and a can of perlite and mixed the whole mess. I used this to start some garden seeds and will use the same for my seedlings.

I do the same with my Dancehall seeds, put them all in a Rubbermaid container and add rain water to the bottoms up over the holes in the cups.
i put a heat pad under them since my studio has a concrete floor. I don't put a light in them until they break soil. I can always add soil around the stalk with they stretch too much.

Now comes the critical step of transitioning to sprouts from tails. I have lost the last 3 in that step, and it may be the coarseness of the soil. If you can filter the soil to put the tailed seeds in finer stuff, I believe it will give the plant a chance to do right as far as which way is up. I never had trouble at that step before.
I took this pic last night. The root and stem are bunched up like a snake. I put some fine worm castings over the root, wet it, and am hoping for the best.

I push a hole in the soil and then drop the seed with tail pointing up or sideways. If it goes in upside down , the hole must be widened and the seed righted. I then take powdered soil or coco and sprinkle in the hole for that reason. If they aren't deep enough they won't shed the helmets. All of mine popped with no helmets attached. I put them under a double fixture shop light with two agrobrite 6500k CFL bulbs, around sixty watts each.
That is a lot of plants for the 4x4 tent. You are on your way!

Wow...I didn't get the memo.
I will run the Thai in my greenhouse shack it finished flowering last year out there, so it's not a pure Thai...it actually a commercial strain from CA. Created by shabud at 707.
I'm in no hurry on it, I just need the Dancehall soon for wife's meds.

How did you end up venting the 4x4 tent? How are you doing humidity control?

I'm starting these in my bathroom of my studio. I have the fan and filter etc for the tent but haven't set it up
I will use the air conditioning for my studio to begin with and add a humidifier if I need to. I shouldn't have to for few months. Oklahoma is pretty humid this time f year.
I have grown several crops in my closet with home made Led panel. I just recently decided to up my game a bit.
