Plants post harvest in case, I trained them after this picture and raise them to the light and the remaining buds will see 12/12 for a couple weeks and will hopefully fill in. I trimmed the stems down as close to the next budsites as possible...
So its nothing to brag about but here is the much anticipated harvest fresh cut and ready for curing... We wont know for sure the official weight since we will be water curing but id say just under a 1/2 if air cured.
So my first taste (or lack there of) of water cure is also going to be our first harvest, a sacrifice well worth it for its stealthiness especially with a road trip in my near future. Buds are completley submerged in water and held suspended in our bucket by closepins.
The freshly trimmed buds smell absolutely wonderful plus a planty smell and at 100x I can still see fields of the trichs intact on the bud (scoped out some of my boys local bought sour diesel today and its sad to say that my trichs were looking much nicer than his were)
Rkrone, we have about 24 hours for a nice dry... what would you think are our options for drying?

no pics today water looked slightly darker than yesterdays before dumping. when the buds were out of the water (while we changed the water) we smelled the buds and can only describe it as a "cucumber-like smell". But so far so good buds have been totally submerged and in a dark place (except when we get nosy).
