The double gum is under a 250w HPS right now, its a Digital hydro hut ballast. the RDWC/bio bucket design is proving itself now. its had its share of kinks man. im jsut happy that its all finally holding together and no longer bitching.

Yea id say its going well.

These have 23 more days of packing on weight. they are frosty as hell and the nugs are already larger then the final buds from the crop that yielded 80 grams off two plants. i dont think the qp is in sight just yet. but I'm almost there..

here are some close ups. the quality is top notch.

the double gum at day 13 is proving to be a rather unruly little bitch herself... i have done ALOT of training and if you look closely i have crushed (supercropped) the one major offender on the right hand side. She is setting buds as we speak which is a great sign that she probably (don't hold me to this) wont stretch as badly as the haze.... famous last words.

Scrub Ninja has made an excellent little toy to keep us hydro growers out of the dark and in the know about what its costing us to put NPK in our reservoirs. See Here

After inputting Ionic's stuff and playing around with the Res sizing and mimic-ing the amount i add to the res my current feeding schedule/chart looks like this when compared to The 8/16 Lucas Formula. for what its worth im using straight tap water. im trying to obtain a water analysis to see where i stand with calcium. you can input your water right along with your nutes and see the whole picture!

In trying to get my P number a little higher i have experimented with adding more boost and it shows that the ratios just will never let me achieve the "lucas" graph wiht my current ratios. Upping the Ionic Boost (0-5-6) by 20 ml gives me this graph.

After more adjusting and playing with a variety of ratios and playing with differnet products ive found there is no easy way to raise the P without adding another suppliment. I will probably go the hydroplex route. this is what it looks like with everything staying the same and the addition of hydroplex at 1 Ml per Litre.

i love this spread sheet. because you can break down the res change cost.
my current regiment it costs somewhere in the neighborhood of $7.17 per res change.
10 week strain your looking at 5 change outs in flower and at least 1 in veg. so total cost from start to finish in nutirents is roughly: $43.02 in nutrients plus electricity and blood sweat and tears

Adding Hydroplex bumps that to: $8.41
or $50.46 for a full cycle.


I emplore you micro hydro users to pick up the sheet and start using it. its really a valuable tool!

If we had a smiley face that was a guy slamming a home run out of the park... i would have the font set to 425.

Ive been growing this strain for 10 years in in doors and outdoors in soil and indoors in hydro. I am ASTOUNDED at the quality this plant is producing in this little system. The two square foot cab blackened both the big boxes eyes last round with yield per square foot. and its about to knock it out cold in the quality department in 22 days. Fuck the yield, I just want to smoke some.

case and point picture one. an underling bud under the canopy. My Jaw dropped when i was cruising the pictures.... Holy fuck that's a nice sheen with 22 days to stack glands and put on weight....

Exhibit B - this is a side shot of one of the stalks. People 51 days! In the last two weeks these things swell like a bee sting. i can not wait!

Exhibit C - that's the stuff in the back i cant check out closely. but is dank down to 10 inches below the canopy.

The double gum. Holy shit. this thing is taking off like a jet fighter. setting nuggets at a ridiculous rate. if shes is indeed the 65 day strain it would be absolutly awesome for my set up. almost a perfect month cycle with a slightly more compact plant.... I'm almost in love. she seems to like the haze nutrient profile so I'm not changing a damn thing.

Gentlemen and Ladies out there. Keep it green, and keep the room fogged up.

let it be known i'm having fun.

the double gum is rocking. sorry for the HPS tint, one day ill have to get a free version of photo-chop. i need the haze to finish up in the worst possible way. this plant is beautiful and i would like to get the perpetual up and running asap.

the Haze is showing off at day 55. shes stacking now. which is a beautiful site to see. they still appear to be a little light although the density is way up from last time. the HPS bulb hiding in the closet unused will probably make up that lost density I'm looking for. i am by no means unhappy.... i just plan on tweaking this to the 10th degree to squeak out every last gram.

Well, here it is People! Day 62 for the hazy and Day 27 Double Gum.

We will start with the double gum. which has pulled a haze and stretched like a bitch and is clawing for the light. its not quite as bad as the haze. but with this new info the veg time for a square foot in my system is looking to be sub ten days. ill keep playing with it till i get it perfect. until then, the beginning of bud porn.

The haze is still plugging along. Even over grown this single plant should produce well. quality is phenomenal. i like what is happening in there but it screwed the perpetual cycle.. its still packing on weight. i need it to be done so i can place the double gum under the 400watt hps.... The veg side was not designed for a flowering plant and I'm tired of filling the res every 24 hours. I never anticipated the plant consuming 70% of the res in 24 hours when designing a 10 gallon single bucket Veg system. Ten more days and a complete chop and clean / water change out for the double gum to take her rightful seat.
