Senate Majority leader said more or less "not going to happen", then announced his bid to replace Jim Sennsenbrenner in the House.

If he wins the nomination, doesn't he have to give up his seat in the state Senate? Meaning the roadblock to an MMJ law could be going away?

One could only hope. That's how we got rid of that bitch Vulkmir.

Still haven't found anything online regarding this new proposal, though I shall keep looking.

news today says "no" in Wisconsin. at least, until they get enough GOP backing...

Legalization is in the budget proposal as a rider. State legeslators will take one vote covering all riders in the budget.
Until we can get Voss and his crowd out, there's not a chance.
