lol... i miss your garden too!

anyone konw where i can get 100/200ml screw cap glass sauce bottles?

first batch of home made chilli sauce done :D Cheyenne Sun Golden Sauce, i call it, because of the colour, the cheyenne chillis (golden colour at ripeness) and the sungold tomatoes i used. it's v1.0, so it won't be perfect, but it's my first, so i'm chuffed :D

i've also been making roast tomato chilli jam, which is fucking AMAZING, and so easy... time consuming, but easy. roast tomatoes for 3 hours on 100c, then chuck in a pot with vinegar and chilli and sugar, ginger, fish sauce and reduce on low until it's thick and sticky... about 2 hours ;)

got an ear infection :( it sux huge pyles...

My outdoor UK crop 2005

My outdoor UK crop 2005

I'll try and attach some of the photos of my UK/Scotland outdoor attempt... police took it all away.... long story.

I've grown oudoors, but only in Scotland, and, for anybody who does not know, its cold, wet, wet and cold/wet!

Botritis is a major problem this far north, due to the mild (???) climate, until a wee bit later that is..., the amount of rain, and the moist atmosphere.... plus, its too far North to enable decent flowering..... Autumn equinox late Sept, couple of more weeks for plants to recognise daylight/night time shift, then 6 - 12 weeks flowering..... you end up in the new year.... and the frosts will kill them if your not very lucky.

So, auto-flowering is best for me, but I've yet to see a reliable strain....

doctor john: hoho, cannabis has come a long way....check out koi and dödsknark's thread where we discuss early flowering strains quite a bit

oh and btw living in scotland you should be able to bring in a harvest no problem, I live in the coastal parts north in norway and compared to my conditions growing in scotland is like growing in California....hehe ;)

I think the biggest problem both with my and your climate is mold, not the flowering period....but a wise choice of strains combined with preventive measures like Greencure should make you able to pull a nice harvest no matter if we're @ 60 latitude with 95% humidity :)

Will do, and thanks for that!
I've been out of the scene, growing wise, for a few years following a bust: 66 monster plants in my walled back garden... dont seem to be able to add the photos.... Anyhow, nice to know things have improved re strains and autoflowering.

I think the biggest problem both with my and your climate is mold

Its been the biggest for me. In the end I stripped all fan leaves in order to allow better air circulation, which helped. Thing was, the least damage and botritis flourished.... hard to get rid of it as the spores are in the air.... and the available sprays are hardly fit to toke!:joint:

@doctor john, there are strains which work very well outdoor in the uk and will start flowering in mid july and be finished in september! leb27 was my earliest (mid july) with no mould and i think another was erocketXdanishpassion (late july) (this suffered from mould tho, i was forever pulling bits of it off).

check out esbe's thread on here, its full of strains suitable for uk outdoor!

normal indoor strains will only start at early sept and as you know they have to suffer shitty weather during october and november.

esben has a good few strains that do well in the uk--i grew some of his strains in 2007---cant remember what they wear erdbeer and a few others----some nice weed--a lot of the growers hear i beleave have gron esbens strains the leb27 i thought was very simular to hollands hope nivarna--but there are a good few plants that thrive hear---nirvarna has a good few strains worth a go paradise as well as-reefermans so many more---if you can find the earlyer phenos and clone them ---that realy helps---iv had sativas go untill late november zeds ak47-origanal haze--no mould lovely smoke---iv never grown the blue hemp strains---or darwin strains but they have some realy early finishers---white widow --papaya great white shark--they have all finished with some realy good results sensi star so many---but as smokeyjoe said a lot of indoor strains just dont work--worth a go but very hit and miss--autos are a real god send for hard to grow areas---stay safe all

leb27 i thought was very simular to hollands hope nivarna

As a huge fan of both, I don't see the similarity...the only thing they share is the colouration but the Hollands Hope/Hoop buds turn purple whereas the Leb27 leaves turn purple.

There's a Hollands Hoop/Hope from 2007.

Anyway, it's so great to see you guys here! I did have a look over on Mycotopia but I didn't join up, there was just something I didn't like about that place...I suppose it's my lack of interest in shrooms and all things hallucinogenic (done that, had my fill thanks)

Shame there's not more pictures but I guess this is only page 3...

So here's some page 3 bud porn!

That's my Autoflowering Haze that I've been working on, she's pretty much finished now I think.

And some Auto Double Diesel.

Both were grown almost exclusively outside in the Great British weather and were only ever brough into the conservatory when the weather turned to shit a while back.

Some of you will have already seen those pics so I apologise I've nothing new, I'll grab some new pics later today.

Aside from Auto Haze & Auto Double Diesel I've been growing Auto Lebanese (Leb27 x Auto Hindu Kush f3) Purple Peace, Leb x Kush, Bubblegum, Auto AK47, Auto Blueberry, Original Haze, Hawaiian Webbed Indica, Auto Great White Shark and probably some others but I forget...

Again, lovely to see you all here, hope you're all well and your gardens are overflowing. I'll be back later in the day with some piccies and a brief update on what seems to be working this year and what appears to be unsuitable.

Hey Ch@ppers, great to see you bro!! That Auto Haze looks fab :joint:

I did plant around 15 Auto seeds and got 10 males and 3 other plants got munched. I did have a nice AutonycdxAutohindukush. Nice yield of nearly an ounce...grown outside in a raised bed all the way...and most importantly a nice smoke with a really nice smell.

I've also got a lebxkush ready that was grown in a pot. Could have been looked after better, but still looks nice.

Cookie monster

Looks like i'm in the right place i see some really nice looking hollands hope and other strains.

HH is what i went for this year outdoors in the vain hope they might finish before the weather turns shite.

I'm looking for a little advice with 1 of them, basically i topped this girl so she would be small n bushy, shes just started to flower but because i kept her topped there are bud sites everywhere.

With all this grey weather and the amount of little buds on her i'm concerned that she will turn into a popcorn bush.
Starting to think that pinching out a lot of the lower buds may not be a bad idea?

So what say ye?
