strange new growth at end of cycle

I have the exact same problem. I hope somebody comes up with something soon. This is my 2nd round of White Rhino that's going bad. The tops are super flexible too. They're mush. You can grab the top, push the top 2" over 90 degrees, and rotate it around.

When I trimmed out the last round that did this to me, the stems themselves were kind of mangled and knobby. Not smoot like a typical stem.

I don't wish to incite paranoia but I saw a post on something called Tobacco Mosaic Virus. One of the symptoms is leaves that twist sideways. I'm definitely seeing some of that. I'm clueless. I have no idea how to solve this problem.

Hope somebody figures this out and sets us in the right direction.
