i think you're spot on with what you just writed.

first time i tried the SourDiesel (ibl) i've found the flavors wonderfull but the potency not so special..it was a 60 days batch..Then i runned a cut to 78/80 days without any problems during the grow and it was a total different world. The potency was way way up as well as the flavors who weren't comparable with the first sample i tried.

Many peoples..and especially the cuts growers advertise others to let some of these special cuts flowering for 10+ weeks..lots of these growers have grow them more than one time and know for a fact that 2 more weeks makes BIG changes in the final product quality.

and when it come to produce clean and strong medicine..2 more weeks on a harvest schedule should not be a problem IMO...

this post reminded me of a grower I knew who never make it past white pistils!!

It is a good idea to go by the TRICHOMES. The hairs (pistils) are not the best indicator of ripeness. I find then there red it is then time to start checking the trichromes. ( If I havent checked with the microscope already)

on bubba, The hairs were 100% red WAY before the trichs got amber.

Well I am very excited to share the news.

I got the results from the gas chromatography tests for thc cbn and cbn % mainly THC since that is what most of todays strains mainly have

Was told 25% at first but after re-adjusting the chemical used for testing the % came out to about 18%.

The lab stated there tests are probably about 5% higher than actual THC %.

That was after 3 weeks of flushing.
tested samples (smoking not THC) at 56 63 70 and 76-80 days.

Thee samples tested for thc% were from cured bud harvested at 78 days.
