im growing a cut from DJ short true blueberry that is real vigorous in veg compared to the OGs i usually run...she fills up nicely in a 4x4 tray, hoping for a good yield on this run. those are ogxchems on the left for comparison..

Uh...they grow super vigorous but they take waaaay too long to flower. Just something to consider.

Im actually thinking about axing 3 and turning them into compost because they grow too fuckin big and flower for a decade. Next time I run SSH if they dont meet my criteria in veg they're not making it to flower.

There is other vigorous strains out there that dont take so long.
thanx for the warning... vigorous growth doesnt always come hand in hand with other desirable traits!

Blue Moon Rocks from Bog. Thick stems, hard dense buds and tons of weight. They drink like theres no tomorrow!

hows the smoke on the bmr socialist? i had that strain on my list but i recently crossed it off cause i didnt think it would yield enough for me plus some people were saying it wasnt that potent, kind of hit or miss depending on the pheno i heard

I cant really comment on the different phenos because I fucked my seeds up and only was able to get one to sprout and thank goodness it was a girl. The potency is up there with C99. It has become one of my best sellers. The buds are perfect looking covered in trichs. It has a real heavy smoke that will fuck you up very nicely yet still be able to smoke and chill all day.

thats great news and if you had to compare it to another strain yield wise what would you think is similar in yield just so i can get an idea?

Sweet Tooth #3 (inspected from bulk - purchased in 2008).

Popped one seed from the ten pack on Sept 10th & I'm glad I didn't pop any more yet because she's taking up most of my 4x4 tent.

She's happy with whatever I do to her. Even supercropped her to the point of accidentally breaking off some of her tops.. but I simply balance the broken off piece back on the original stem & she continues to grow without flinching & heals herself. :yoinks:

Just flipped to flower 5 days ago and I can tell there are going to be dozens of huge tops over her even canopy. No doubt in my mind about the quality of the buds when finished. Her reputation is etched in granite.

Kudos to Breeder Steve, where ever he may be. :ying:

Serious Seeds Chronic would be comparable but the high is way better from BMR. With an average height of 2.5 feet I can expect to average 3.2oz/per plant. I just bought a house and will be moving soon and am going to grow some monster trees to see how much I can get out of it. The one thing I have found is that the plants are very sensitive(will hermie) to any kind of light cycle change or light leaks. Fortunately it only produced a few underdeveloped seeds. The male flowers it produces when this happens are so small that they are very hard to find. Also no popcorn from the BMR, the lower buds are of a very respectable size and are also very dense.

sagamatha seeds of pre 2009 where very vigiours heavy yielders and did just as well as clones also, except for the yumboldt plant back then, even though the origional mother was lost some time back you can still make simillar plants of tonys old stock by using the males ive found.

Does anybody remember Golden Skush from GN collection first offered in 2003? I found a pack that I had stored in the fridge, great hybrid vigor, and quite a big yielder too!
