Yield per square feet.

What kind of yield is decent per sq foot with a 400w? I have a powerled 180, which is supposed to be comparable to a 400w hps.

The problem is, I have pretty limited space - about 2 sq foot. Last time I used about half of that(I grew from seed, and half of the plants was male) - in other words a sq foot, and I got about 25 - 30 grams.

I grew in soil, had 7 plants in 2liter bottles and used the canna nutrient pack. The veg time was pretty short, I think about 2-3 weeks tops.

Sensi seeds say some of their strains could yield 150g/ sq foot..

200g in 2 sq foot with your PowerLED-180 is not impossible..

no way! you are trippin. No way will you ever get 200g of 2sq ft. If you do, then I would be amazed. I am guessing more around 75-100g

1m2 in ScrOG i regularly hit 14-16 oz's with a single 400w HPS, 2' id say your looking at over 10oz if you play your cards right, its a bit tight but properly trained i can see 10+ maybe more, depends how you do it & maximise your area to max efficiency!

Check out my Nivarna ICE Scrog Grow in my picture album, that area was just under 3' squared(2.75ish), that was around the 12oz mark, beauty of scrog, although your pushing the boat out with 2', still you can hit alot higher than some are sugesting, 8-10oz's id be looking for bro's! check out the Album!

Of Course jm! goes without saying, dont bother with auto's is my advise, well not if your looking to max out your yields! av a look at ScrOG grows maybe, just dont try to pack to many Cola's in there! & flip 12/12 early!

i use modular scrog screens that are just over a square foot - one for each plant - and i get 2-4 ounces from each plant/square foot - under a 250 hps. 3 is about average.

i cant see that getting much more than that is possible tbh, there would be no space for the buds

What would be best yieldwise - lots of smaller containers like I did it my last run - or fewer, bigger ones? I'm guessing veg time has a lot to do with how much you get as well, correct?

they're all factors really, you need to dial veg time in for the strain, final pot size and space your plants will get and make sure that they fill it. some kind of training/manipulation to get lots of buds in an even canopy is what is needed to get really big yields, whether its measured by the foot, or by the watts used. i prefer low plant numbers because in the eye of the law a flowering plant is a flowering plant and will get counted up the same no matter how big they are. also less watering.

manufacturers claims should always be taken with a pinch of salt - but i use LED's and get good efficient results from them.
