silversurfer, you definitely don't want to do a basement knock off of a soil bed unless you have a good sewing machine.

I am just picturing growing perfection mate

I have used staples to hold together my grow bags and most of them have lasted over a year. Just used one every inch or so and they cool. Biggest prob is them rusting. Indoors this wont be a prob if they stay dry... we will see.
