Dear Folks,
I recently transplanted from soil to coco coir, then my plants showed overwater symptoms like droop leaves, been watering 3 times a day since the coco looks very dry, yesterday i notice the leaves started to became pale and today some rust signs.
I fed yesterday with a garden chemical nutes, it contains both calcium and magnesium but little (1% mag, 0,6% calcium), it didnt help.
Is this only a transplant shock or some calcium/magnesium def? I dont have any CalMag but read it is very needed in coco coir.
I use LED lights, read somewhere it causes more needs of calcium, is this true?
Thanks in advance
How long has this problem been going on? 3 days
Are you growing in a PVC grow tent? (example: Hydrohut or any other non brand tents) No, a greenbox mylar
What system are you running? (DWC? Ebb flow? Aero? Water Farm? Flood Tables? and so on...) Coco coir hand watered
What STRAIN are you growing? Bag seeds
What was the establishing technique? (Were the seed or clone?) From seed into soil and then transplant to coco coir
What is the age of your plants? 3 weeks
How long have they been in there mixture they are in now?(coco, soiless etc..) 3 days
How tall are the plants? About 4-5 inches
What PHASE are the plants in? (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? vegetative
What substrate/medium are you using?(Hydroton, RockWool etc.) Coco coir
What is the Water temperature? Dont know for sure, about 25 celsius
What color are your roots? White? Brown? Are your roots slimy? They came a little brown but mostly white when i transplanted
What Nutrient's are you using?(If growing soiless) A generic npk with micros
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? 800ppm
How often are you feeding? (If using soiless) 3 times per day
How often are you testing your pH/PPM/EC/TDS? Every watering, about 5.8, runoff at 6.5
Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equipment? Not very sure, bought some calibration but didnt arrive yet.
When was your last watering? 3 hours ago
