BigAl; I have been searching for molasses in grocery stores and health stores, but haven't found it yet. After doing some research though I see they feed it to horses, so I am going to visit a farm supply store tomorrow.

Try by the pancake syrup and stuff, if not there baking asile, called Grandma's Molasses, orange or yellow bottle. Remember the hardest thing to learn in horticulture is patience. Always think about the pros and cons of what you are about to do before you do it.

Thanks guys, I'll let the leafes stay for now then. I've looked in all the local grocery stores, but none are to be found, only syrup. I dont live in the US so I don't have that brand here. I hope the farm supply store have molasses, I think they do. I've heard it's really cheap there too. like 50lb for 20$
