Uhh, hold up. You want at least 50-60 watts per square foot. A 1K covers a 4X4 area well, which is 16 square feet. A 1200w setup should cover a 3X6 area, not much more.
So if I went with three 1200s about how many plants could I fit under them?
After doing the math with the square footage you provided, I've decided to go with four 1000ws, that should cover 64 square feet. How many plants would be ideal for that size? I know every strain grows differently, I just need somewhere to start.
I use two 400w under 2.5 x 5 so about 12.5' squared and 64w/ft squared. I only grow 4 plants in that space with a 1-2 lb yield.
I am about to try my first grow, indoors in soil. I was wondering how much yeild to expect from a 1200w light and how much room it should cover. Would 2 x 1200w cover a 12 x 12 foot room or would I need 3 of them?
600w in cooltubes 400w dont penetrate enough
I think that's why people recommend containers instead of boxes inside, the drainage. How the hell do you flush an indoor box? I imagine water pumps would have to be involved, sounds messy.I have a ? about watering... I am building planter boxes and need to know if they need to drain? Or do i filter fabric the inner of the box? Im pretty much in the dark on this one.... Do i water untill it drains??? haha thanks for all of your help i greatly appreciate it!
