Why do I always smell the plants outside the garden at lights out?

The non-digital timers (with the many 'push down for on' buttons) works
great for running your exhaust fan 15min per hour of off time. Just push down
one button for each hour.

I have been harvesting lately in the 3-4 hours before the lights turn on....seems like they reek the most in those few hours before they wake up.
