You guys are going to love the contents. For starters, 4 or more persons constitute a collective that must register and comply with the ordinance.
You don't think that's reasonable?
This ordinance looks like something Blue Dot would write.
That's too funny, we all know Blue Dot. But, for real, I understand his perspective. IMO, he does not like to see people skirting the law for self-gain off the sick. And, yes, I see the other sides perspective too, so there is no need to start a barage of comments towards me. As I said before, it is one hell of a pickle.
Only five pounds on hand for a med store - what a joke. That means the store will need a separate facility to store and sort their inventory. This provision is stupid and only meant to make life difficult for the store operator.
That's just it, they do not want stores. They want it conformed strictly by the law; that is what lawyers do.
And all the access they want to members' private records, wow, these are medical records, after all. Why should the city have access to records of how much mmj I use?
They are overstepping HIPPA laws here.
No edibles, no concentrates... what's with that. WTF does this lady have against edibles? This ordinance seems to want to take what are, in many cases, good medicine stores with a variety of concoctions to suit the patient's needs, and change them into just pot shops where all you can buy is bud. What's the sense in that? I could see adopting some standards, just like with any natural pharmacopoeia, but banning everything but bud seems like a real disservice to the sick people who ingest mmj in different ways.
I agree.
It'll be interesting to see how much of the bullshit survives the public hearing, but y'all in LA have got your work cut out for you. I wonder if there is any other business that the city tries to micro-manage down to the point of inventory control.
It's because they don't consider it a business, nor is it supposed to be by our two laws for MMJ.

I thought it was records of how much the vendors provide?
Not exactly a "medical record" IMO.
