Heres the set, you'll get one damn near exactly like the one you posted. I personally like the third one, the end on the top (it's kind of a small rounded tip, hard to see in the photo) is perfect for doing dabs and holds a good amount, while not wasting too much. The one you want is the 5th one, I like it for scraping/transferring oils, not so much for dabs (theres always a large amount wasted with a bigger dabber like that IMHO).. For 5.99 you get 6 different stainless dabbers, how could you go wrong? :tiphat:

A tip: I notice that dabber is nasty as hell, thats gotta be affecting the flavor. Try having something like a napkin. rag, something to wipe off the excess after doing a dab, while the dabber is still warm. Mine look pretty similar to this picture, except for where the steel has blued from heating it repeatedly, but nice and clean. Don't want nothing screwing up the flavor!

As far as vaping oil, nothing beats titanium, NOTHING. I've tried quartz, glass, and other metals, nothing beats the flavor of a good seasoned piece of Ti IMHO.

Try it, especially with more flavorful oils. You can taste WAY more of the flavor on the Ti.

Thanks for the tip. I will pick up this set soon. I plan on getting a HMK soon!!! I want Ti!!!

Gm421 nope its a quartz glass nail with a small cup on the top to hold wax or oil these are amazing , they have them for around $22-$25 dollars I sell them at my smokeshop, people are loving them but they are the newset thing no more skillet swings

a buddy was trying to give me heck for my dirty dabber, and i said well how did that oil taste, and he said awesome! so, i said well i dont think the minute quantity of dark oil on the dabber from the last hit will effect flavor. i dont believe it can at all actually, for as soon as you put a fresh dab down with a clean dabber, right away that oil becomes just like the dark stuff left on the pin, and tastes the same. just because it looks golden on the dabber doesnt mean it keeps that color going into your lungs, it doesnt. its the same color as dabber residue, or for another example, oil unit reclaim.

Speaking of oil unit reclaim, any facts (or opinions) on the chemical change between fresh & reclaim oil? Does the torch heat cause any further decarboxylation?

reclaim oil is thoroughly decarboxylated as well as fully purged (if it were not initially) from its contact with the hot heating element

this makes it a perfect candidate for tincture/edible use as it is metabolically active as is and doesn't not require further solvating into a fat i.e. butter or oil. for those who cannot stand the taste of cannabutter (like me) but find themselves requiring a discrete method of medicating should look into oil based solutions as they impart little flavor and maximum potency.

We love this stuff and reclaim it at every opportunity. The speedier components have already been removed and it produces stellar pain and sleep meds.

Ohmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!1

I guess we have to agree to disagree on this one. I can taste the old hit on my dabber if I do that, makes the next hit taste like reclaim to me. I never thought it would stay the same color, my reclaim is actually a pretty darker amber.

Also, I have numerous flavors of oil, want to be able to taste every bit of flavor from that strain. A clean dabber ensures this.

Once again, it's purely a matter of opinion. :)

On reclaim, I've vaped it, good for insomnia! Also helps my migraines as well, which sometimes even heavy narcotics can't touch. I'm saving my reclaim, been planning on getting enough together to make dosed suckers and jolly rancher type candies (I figure like a .5g in some, 1g in others, marked).

Any opinions as to how much reclaim oil to put in each, for a single dose, and maybe a 2x?

i am thinking maybe my dabber doesnt hold as much reclaim on it, cuz i dont notice the successive dabs flavor diminish or changed by it. what is your dabber made out of? my dabber sits angled down, so all claim on it drips to the dab end, and never builds up.. if you dab completely, there should be very little residue left on your dabber.

I mainly use the 3rd one above, not the knife looking side, but the other. It has a small round tip, makes doing large dabs or measuring small dabs really easy. But yeah, theres always a little bit of reclaim looking oil left on the end. I usually just wipe it off while the dabber is still warm. Maybe I'm not getting it hot enough/letting it cool off too much before dabs? (I get an awesome hit, with just a tiny little bit of residue left on the Ti, and a small amount of reclaim looking oil left on the dabber). Maybe it's just my OCD that tells me I need to clean my dabber, lol. :blowbubbles:

I can't wait till I finish up my first harvest so I can finally smoke some home-made BHO.

I also hope to own an oil rig before the year is over.
