I've been out of the game for awhile and am looking for someone who still carries these seedlines. Is NL#5 the best one still? And are there still true lines? Or would I have to buy hybrids? If so, who makes them? Thanks.
Peakseeds BC sells a NLX skunk that is very good. Their skunk offering is not called skunk 1, but my goodness it is potent, vigorous and excellent. It is also very reasonably priced at 30$.
I love NL and Ive grown a bunch. I believe Dr. Atomics to be the best. It is his version of Sensi's original offering, but honestly, he's improved it. Read the thread on this page "DR. Atomic strains".
I whould go to sensi seeds for my northern lights,I have also herd many good things about other company's(Thc ,bc seed com, white label
Skunk#1 can be a little easier to get ur hands on.Looks like Flying Dutchman has already proved itself.Good luck!!
I am currently growing a NL/Skunk cross called Supreme Skunk its from back in the day(10 years ago) from a seedbank called BCSC(British Columbia Seed Bank)
Supreme Skunk- This F-1 hybrid is a cross between Skunk #1 and the world famous Northern Lights #5. For sheer yield and hybrid vigour, this is one of the best. Huge buds, excellent resin, taste and high. Supreme Skunk is an extremely reliable indoor variety that works especially well in small grow chambers or sea of green. Combines the distinctive qualities of NL #5 and the unique pungency of Skunk #1 together in a vigorous even blend
well ive got both strains from sensi and ive currently got 4 1week old sensi northern lights looking beautiful and 4 nirvanas northern lights looking just as nice guess ill see which one's nicer in about 10 weeks it realy depends on how much u want to spend, ive done so much research on northern lights my favourite strain and ive come to this conclusion if u want the better quality strain then u have to spend more $$ not realy sure bout the skunk1 but if i were to get it anywere it would be sensi's or flying dutchmen..but if u want a cross of both those strains then i would go sensi's SHIVA SKUNK which has been highly recommended to me from some serious growers..anyways good luck peace benji....
This cross between Skunk #1½ and Northern Lights #5½ is one of the most reliable varieties that Sensi have ever produced. Excellent hybrid vigour and yield make this one a snap to grow. Works superbly indoors as well as in a greenhouse. Taste and high are similar to Skunk #1½, a rich sweet pungency, but with more resin and better yield. High calyx to leaf ratio, you can almost throw those scissors away as very little manicuring is required. An absolute must for beginners or experts. Finishing date in greenhouse: end of October. Yield in greenhouse: up to 500 gr.
