Kenai?
I remember the many times that I've been salmon fishing on the Kenai River. Watching a mated pair of bald eagles devouring a salmon carcass within 10 feet of your drift boat is something that you'll NEVER forget.
Great place indeed to figure out life.

NOKUYare you serious bro?
i spent a grip of time in waders right downstram from soldotna...and spent a ton of time processing fish on k-beach for inlet salmon.

My 'personal best' on the Kenai River was a 62 lb. chinook which took about 30 minutes to bring it onboard the drift boat. Quite a day!

I haven't been to Kenai in 20 years. Are the women still ugly and the bears inviting?
That's quite a slam against the women along the Kenai River because your observation is pretty much the entire state of Alaska based on my many visits.I haven't been to Kenai in 20 years. Are the women still ugly and the bears inviting?

I say freaking amazing. Went to alaska this summer and it was sweet. A big thank you to you NOKUY for telling me about the Kenai, Homer and Seward. We drove just over 3000 miles while there. Took about 1500 pics and sucked it all in. Picked up a killer piece before we left. I wish we could have had more time to really explore. Thank you again.
