When does side branching occur?

400W MH 1' over some plants 6" tall. When does side branching occur if you don't bend/LST/top etc?

When they grow up, depends on strain, age, health. Keep watching.

some strains/phenotypes will not branch-out, but just be columnar one single cola plant.

Ya true^^^, or some will have good looking side branches, but theyre so weak, they slump to the floor. Hopefully you get some good structured genetics.
