Nice setup like above stated do somthing with the carpet. plastic layed out and duct taped to the bottom of the walls would work.

Correct and this is the one situation where you want to buy the 14$ roll of Hvac Nashua code app. Duct tape. Stickiest Duct tape ive found yet! No need to cheap out on the duct tape that seals your room man that walmart shit will come off in a week..

Ive seen those plastic anchors do they work well enough to support the weight? They have metal ones that might be better for the heavier stuff

believe it or not the metal ones have a LOWER weight rating..
