Check out "The Pyramid" haha. Saw it on hbo go and it ended up being quite scary- it uses the filmer's pov as archaeologists explore an underground pyramid.

Watching it right now. I like movies like this. I'm surprised I missed this one.

Last night I watched "We Are What We Are". More creepy than scary.

anyone mentioned The Wicker Man yet? the original movie, from 1973.

that's one excellent movie anyone who likes movies must watch.

some idiots made a remake in 2006 and it sucked ass, of course. watch the original one only.

Excellent movie. The remake with Nicholas cage was a travesty. He should be ashamed of himself.

I highly recommend "Ravenous" to anyone who hasn't seen it.
You won't be disappointed. One of the most bizarre movies I've ever seen. It's on Netflix.
+1
"He licked me."

very original story and take on "manifest destiny",
not a typical "horror movie" but certainly has
horror elements for sure, and symbology

to help make its point.
(for some looking for all-out horror,
it might not be action/fast-paced enough).
Awesome soundtrack ("bent western" music,
with a bit of heart in places), which i had to buy.

just checked, and Ravenous is still up on nflx.

a current release, with a not too dissimilar story
(but far, far gnarlier when the horror gets rollin')
is Bone Tomahawk

here's the horror, giving the video nasty Cannibal Holocaust a run for its money...

Kurt, buddy, never thought we'd see ya in such a brutally horrific flick.

...that ending, with the crackling fire burning large and loud,
and the happy singers (including Christopher Lee) surrounding it...
classic horror.
