OK..i was forced into coco..was growing in h2o..a dwc. micro-grow in a cab under a 150hps...occasionally i would have temp issues..one time it almost destroyed everything i was growing... when i first started growing i did it in soil (2003). once i went to water and saw how much bigger and in my opinion better my results were i swore i would never go back...i do not know how i got turned on to coco coir but once i tried it i was truly satisfied with the results...i do not know all the science behind it but coco coir, for me, was similar to hydro with the final product.
so i did not just get up one day and say i am going to coco...i was having h2o temp problems and decide to give it a try to save my garden...it worked and at the time i was using advance nutrients 3 part formula..grow, micro, bloom...to me it was similar to gh's same formula...gh might have had a little more salt residue...anyway, i am getting low on the advance nutrients and i usually go with what is less expensive..usually it is gh but this last time around the advance was the same price so i gave it a go. canna is about the same in $$
should i get the canna nutes for coco plus the pk thing?
what would other suggest? i suspect any hydro mix will do but are those specialized for coco coir better?
