I prefer the old school metal. I was listening to Priest when I was 12 years old. Saw them for the first time in 1979 when they opened for UFO at the Paramount theater in Portland Oregon. UFO is another old school band I still listen to. Unfortunately Michael Schenker had left UFO the year prior. But I saw him later after he formed MSG.
I'm not a fan of todays speed/death metal. Everyone has different tastes so I'm not disparaging todays metal. I just don't care for it. Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, etc... So many memories over the years and too many concerts to count. I've seen Judas Priest at least 15 times over the years. I'll be at any future shows they do in my town. They recently released a new album and it's still great classic Priest.
If you're pissed about Alpha, you gotta wonder who the fuck said we're starting over?
