I know only one bubble gum and it's from serious seedsOriginally the Bubble Gum was developed by growers in Indiana, USA. From there the genetics moved to New England and eventually Holland.
Bogglegum is NL x Bubblegum. Not exactly the same thing. Still highly appreciated by those who grow it, but I'm just sayin'.
Serious Seeds is probably the only one that has the true IBL-ness that Bubblegum is supposed to exhibit. You plant those seeds, there won't be too much pheno-sorting. SS Bubblegum is in my top 3 strains of ALL TIMES. Fantastic, dependable, and able to be grown from seed without worrying about pheno selection.
I just asked Claude recently if anything has changed with that strain in the past 15 years and he said it will be exactly as I remembered it from back then. I'll be ordering some on my next seed order.
Why fiddle with other breeders when you have the SS version?
Maybe you got lucky. (Or I got unlucky)Serious Seeds is probably the only one that has the true IBL-ness that Bubblegum is supposed to exhibit. You plant those seeds, there won't be too much pheno-sorting.

There were only two in my pack that smelt of bubblegum, one mildly and one very strongly. The one was really good, but frankly I expected more than 1 plant when I bought the pack!
TH Seeds are said to have a more indica leaning genetic line. Their stock is supposed to be siblings from the same stock like the ones from Serious Seeds but a different selection, what i recall. So someone looking for a pure bubblegum might have to look into that.
No problem, though the outcome from a SS pack wasn't that much sativa leaning. Looked more like some elongated indies. BTW i'm such an indica loving person. Can't have that heart racing stuff even if some of them taste very good but i'm getting uncomfortable most of the times i'm on a sativa trip. You're absolutely right. I'm such a sativa person that my mind automatically places those lines in the crap category despite them probably being good for an indica lover. My mistake.
