sorry for my ignorance but did not find the meaning of the acronym dtw

drain to waste, all feeds run off and are discarded as opposed to recirculated and reused run off.

dtw = Don't tell wife, it's simple but costly lol

It's not as wasteful as one would think; runoff is good for the tomatoes.
