What is best led ?

When it comes to commercial operations, they don't necessarily choose the best(what is the definition of best anyway?) lighting - they choose the most profitable lighting. For the time being, that is HID lighting.

We'll say quality though, fuck yield per watt. How many of these cups are won under LED lighting?



I've personally been thinking about trying to enter cups in the future and yield isn't exactly a factor, you need the best, of course judging a competition is probably mostly on bag appeal, taste and smell since you are going to be fried after the first sample. Lol, but I know at least most of the cup winners have used HPS.

HID (MH+HPS) or just HPS by itself? Or, LED for veg and HPS for flower?

I read a lot of forums and the general consensus is that HPS during the flowering stage still wins for quality, hands down.

Pity the GrandMasterLevel Youtube vids are no longer they use HLG 550s pretty amazing results.

I think SpydrX is a bit better than Gavita and HLG, but all three are very good.
