I hear H&G comes highly recommended..
but I would first like to ask, have you ever seen an increase in leaf production using it?
I also know rhiztotonic comes recommended, and have seen trials down with and without.
Well if you grew an extra arm, NO you would not run faster, but if you grew an extra LEG, because we're talking ROOTS here, ya you very well could run faster...^ alot more roots
I still though, am un-convinced more roots equal more growth.. and it's going to be hard for me to explain my ideas ( I'm horrible at analogies.. haha ) if you grew another arm, could you run faster?
see, roots do uptake, yes, but who said more roots equals more growth ever? can I have another try at it? if you were in a room with 200 PPM Co2, would you work better in a room with 150 PPM ?
see, all the product does is stimulate root production, who said it ever increased growth? this is on my to do list, to test root stimulants, but more important, to compare growth from non treated water vs. treated water.
how do we know the uptake ability of a single root? maybe more equals a spread out share, while maybe fewer roots can "work harder" bringing in just as much...
maybe I'm just crazy for thinking this.
I had a 600 page book just on roots.. didn't read it though... HAHA
I just am weary of additives. as there more to make with them then bases. all I know is you can grow a plant with just base nutes, but you can't grow a plant with just additives.
The problem I have with Rhizotonic is the 15mL per gallon dosing and therefore 14 times more in cost....
Roots Excelurator and Rapidstart are both 1.1ml per gallon....
And that IMPHO is a HUGE cost difference when you're talking 100+ gallons...
Rapidstart I double up and use 2mL per gallon and ends up being the same as Roots Excelurator....
So why not just buy the best on the market because the mL to mL cost, it's rather cost efficient..
Just my 2 cents anyway...
