i'm listening to the first dub LP that i ever bought, in 1981. I went to the tiny secondhand record shop-flipped through the reggae section and pulled out the first sleeve with 'Dub' in the title-went home got stoned and played it. I can remember thinking-this is the best record in the universe. It got nicked in the late 80s and i've been trying to get a copy ever since.
I've just downloaded it and am hearing it for the first time in over 20years
I can confirm-it IS the best record in the universe
