check out this video. This dude or group anonymous took down the PSN for the ps3's and now netflix is down. he's acting like he's doing a protest blocking the server's entry port for any playstaion device. this is craxy look for a video about psn hacker anonymous he is full of it

New info that a small splinter group of people in anonymous may have done this. PSN is seeking help from the law.

They have moved all the PSN server info to a new place and were waiting for it to launch. ​

But the big new is that PS is giving out:
30 days of free PSplus membership
30 days of free music unlimited membership
Also PS is setting up a whole bunch of special content that will be free or at least special deals.

Heres their list of what will happen in what order they say a week from april 19th.

1. Game play restored for PS3 and PSP
2. Music unlimited access
3. access to change password and psn options
4. access for all paided DL movie content already paid for
5. reactivating the PShome world
6. Restoring friend list
7. The last this to come back will be chat

most people doubt anon did this, it just doesnt make sense for them to do it. their MO has never been about financial gain, but thats what appear to be the intention behind this attack. millions of credit card numbers, even without the secure codes, are worth a pretty penny in many groups

anyone know if you lose content from the psn plus package if you dont keep the subscription current does it all go away? The free content?

thats what they are saying on the ps forums that the free stuff thats included with a ps plus account goes away when the account expires so its really a useless thing to give people as a consolation for the network being down so long.seems more like a ploy to get you used to having it so you'll pay for it later

well you also get discounts so I assuming if you had to pay for any part of it you wont lose it right?

ps3 and the psn playstationnetwork is back up along with netflix finally took a month damn near. its all because of that new ps3 firmware jailbreak. I guess it allows you to save a game to back up and reload the game with a different blu-ray ghosting the game.
