Where I live, deer are as bad as they get about eating up gardens and especially weed plants. When I was guerilla growing, 20+ years ago, I had entire plants mowed to the ground by deer when they were small. I tried mothballs and they never did anything for me.

Deer have done the same to me...multiple 5ft plants reduced to nada, overnight.

However, once I started using mothballs it stopped so they’ve been my go-to for YEARS and seem to be my key defense. Wonder why we have different experiences?

I throw them on the ground in a circle around my plants from 10-20ft away from the plants.

Peace,

Edit: once plants for into flower deer leave things alone, for me anyway.
