Beautiful color on those flowers Raco and impressive genetics. Very tasty 🤤.
Sneezy you know I don't have shower, this is Ranger training here. But I really didn't do anything strenuous and I've got to train a little just for the health. However I'm mending quickly and really to get back at it.
Really happy with these little rhino diesel plants from Greenie. No yield of course but super high quality. I've never had NYCD but I've grown white rino here before and this cross is much better everything. I'll be starting some new crosses shortly.

I know man. I would have the hose running outside from the washing machine room hot water ... neighbors can watch. But either way I hope you take it easy and eat a lot of soup.
Maybe throw a nug in.

Yeah I'm just joking with you man, lot's of options here. And as I've mentioned to you before the owners will be back in July. So now I'm searching for my place, looking down by the river a little closer to town. But good thing is I'm up to 85% as far as the back pain. I've got a couple plants to transplant into the greenhouse. I've made some crosses that I'm going start next. One I've already started is "Kahuna" which is Colombian Muisca with the Hawaiian Wiley. And I'm doing a repro of the Red Snake bx that I hope to start looking through later this year. I'm setting aside fine exotic bud like the Djamba and Muisca as well as some of the best hashish to break out when international visitors appear. I think the Red Snake is one of them.

Morning RR. How’s the back? Let’s start the morning off with a little sativa porn. This fine lady is a Haitian New Guinea cross and is currently at week 8+ of flower in my tent. Maybe a touch of indica in there as well. Hope she smokes up good. Enjoy..

Actually I do eat a lot of carrots as they're one of the vegetables I like. Garlic onion, spinach and the occasional cabbage. Heavy soups are very popular here and I love them. Ajiaco is the local dish and I like my wife's version. It's like a chicken stew and quite tasty. Living by myself at the farm means I do my own shopping and cooking. Fast food only twice a month when I go to town. I like it although I miss the wife's cooking.

This is my Kamora F2 I grew here last year before I had the greenhouse. Really like this variety and it's different phenotypes. This one is mostly Malawi but with a different twist.
View attachment 19003408
Another phenotype of Kamora this one more like the X2B (X2 x Bangi Haze). I like the Kamora but I've grown many the last couple years and I want grow something else for awhile.
For pain for the back pain I have now I was lucky to have harvested the perfect plant. It's my neighbors White Rino x NYCD and although not quite dry super painkiller. I grew them in the greenhouse and the hit is incredible. Strong heavy hit that still stimulates the mind while allowing the body to rest. Kamora is good medicine too but the WR x NYCD is a true painkiller.

If I remember correctly the White Rhino was renamed Medicine Man on MNS catalog so I assume her medicinal value as painkiller is known for a long time, glad it works for you. I have finally been able to convince my mother to try some CBD oil to help her with knee and shoulder pain and I'll make her try some oil with THC also to see if it's more effective for her pain. Do you think THC is more effective than CBD to deal with pain?

I do love the Red Snake, a very nicely balanced sativa. This particular Red Snake is special to me because it's a back cross to the original Punto Rojo. We did this bx about eight years ago and I only had three seeds of it. Pretty old seeds but all three popped, two survived but they were deformed and most people would culled them. But I really babied them and it worked and now they're normal healthy plants. Hopefully I'll get many F2s to grow in the future.

Red Snake, Djamba, Muisca, Red Death, Michoacán, Oaxacan,JBM these varieties when grown in the ground under the Colombian sun produce authentic reproduction.

No, I don't recall that particular variety. Over the years I've run into basically two types of private growers here. The younger "fad" YouTube growers that run the lastest indo gear in tents. These guys usually don't smoke bud and dab BHO instead. That's pretty a pretty general description but you get the idea. Then there's the old dudes (never met an old lady grower here). These guys grow lower potency native sativa and don't know or care about lineage. I know a few more growers now but overall I don't know or want to know many growers.
Most named varieties come from the first group of growers. But like Muisca that's a name my gave the variety not what the OG calls it. No idea where I'm going with this but damn that Muisca hashish is good.

CBD vs THC

In 2020 I developed five CBD varieties that the company registered with the department of agriculture. We hitting the high twentys (CBD) and.1 THC. Beautiful aromatic flowers covered in trics. I personally made super potent tinctures with the CBD flower. I personally do not use CBD for anything but it's very popular here as a medicine. But I gave this CBD tincture to several sick people (some with cancer. It seemed to help a few people but not impressively. I also make tinctures for myself with THC flower, I used this for not only pain but also just to feel better.
Many people swear by the benefits of CBD, but it's never done anything for me. Full spectrum (not to be confused with broad spectrum) is the only way to go for a viable medical treatment.
Like I tell people here, I'm not a doctor so I don't know if cannabis will work for you. I can tell you what works for me but I'm not you.
I can offer this advice and that is try different ratios of cannabinoids to find the one that works best for your mother.
I wish you the most success.

The Rhino, I first encountered White Rhino in 2006 when I received 10 seeds from Nirvana. I grew on my patio in Bogota. When finished I was impressed with not only the raw potency but also the quality (effect). I haven't grown it since 2006 until now.
However the above plant (picture) is not White Rhino, it's a cross. The mother a White Rhino (Nirvana) and the doner a variety I've only read about, New York City Diesel. In this particular cross I can feel and identity the Rhino, it's raw pain erasing power. However this variety has the power but it's mood enhancing and complex stimulating memory recollection and creativity. I was actually fortunate to have this variety available when I injured my back. I was able heal faster because the powerful "couch lock" kept me immobile and hungry. Very grateful indeed for this plant.
No doubt I love the mountain grown sativa but I'll keep a good indica in the garden along side it.
IMG_20240519_155140972_MFNR.jpg

On a side note I'd like to say that the Fez (White Rhino x NYCD) and high quality Indica when used recreationally builds a quick tolerance in me. For pain relief it's effective with consecutive doses but in normal day smoking I don't get much out of it after the second application. It is a nice night cap occasionally though.

Thanks for the reply, you're right we all react differently so the best way is experiment with smell dosage of the different cannabinoids. I think we users of cannabis since a long time don't feel any effect with only CBD because our body has a long history with THC combined with CBD and others compounds. It's different for people who are not used to consume cannabis in any form, for them CBD alone can have some percevable effects. For now my mother don't feel the need to take her painkiller pills once she has taken some CBD oil, I see that as a victory and her as well.
I'll try to grow some pure CBD plants or some with equal part CBD/THC but I don't have enough space, I'd need to make a tent for that.

To be honest, I know people that can't tolerate THC. It's horrible and I feel sorry for these people almost like lactose intolerant people missing out on ice cream and cheese. But CBD pure or with a tiny bit of THC (broad spectrum) works for them. Awhile back I had a crazy idea and pollenated the super high CBD variety I registered with the high THC Kamora and I did. Thinking the cross would produce offspring of high 1:1 ratio profiles. Yet I've not even tried to germinate them. I just have too many other plants I want to grow. I gave seeds to a couple growers (private) in Bogota but as usual no reports back yet. My mother in law is in her late 70s and suffers with arthritis in the knees, really painful for her to get around. She takes a lot pain meds and couple years ago I gave her a super concentrated CBD tincture for topical application. At the time she said it helped but stopped using it. Then last year I made another super concentrated tincture but with Kamora flower. My mother in law loves it and you can see it gets her high. It's a really good thing but she doesn't think she's high she only feels better. For me it's a great pleasure to give someone suffering relief with my plant. Funny thing is that I get enormous enjoyment getting someone stupid high on sativa for the first time or any time for that matter.

That is the great thing about this plant. There seems to be a magic combo for everyone. I could never even notice any effect of cbd. I started eating some cbd gummies at night to see if they helped me sleep better. I'm still not sure if they worked at all. Until one day we were on the way to go mountain biking. I told my buddy that my coffee was not working and didn't even think about the gummies I ate the night before. Less than a minute into the ride I caught my toe on a root, went off a small drop and did a bicycle summersault over the bars. On a trail I have riden several times. Not saying it was the cbd's fault. But I do suspect it affected my reaction time. I think I'll stick with thc in the form of sativas and leave the cbd for those in need.

That was a great story man with an unexpected end. Thanks for sharing that. I always look at things from my perspective but there are people that don't like the effect of THC. But they benefit from the other cannabinoids so CBD is the ticket.
I still have a lot of CBD seeds and maybe one day I'll grow it for someone.
