The latest, newest, state of the art Phototron.....2! Sooo much better than that useless first Phototron....

So good the picture ended up on its side... :(

I'm thinking of collecting the ones from the 70s-early 80s. I started buying them in '83 but wasn't able to hold on to them until '86.

I think it's useful for the folks who weren't around in the 70s to see what weed looked like outside the realm of High Times centerfolds. At least half the weight that we paid for was stems and seeds. The main reason it was such shitty looking weed was that it was harvested extremely early. The seeds were very light in color color and immature, the potency was modest and the buzz was fairly short-lived. But that shitty Oaxacan dirt weed had potential. I friend of mine used Oaxacan bagseed to do guerilla grows in East Texas, and the sinsemilla bud he produced was extraordinary; much better than the imported stuff even though it was from the same seed.

Probably they didn't deseed the flowers so not quite prerolls.

What's interesting about this is that Mexico was one of the few places where it was illegal at the time, along with Jamaica, Lebanon, South Africa... lol.
Yeah its always kind of been like that in mexico. The local cops collect a "tax". They were openly selling it on the beaches of Cancun when i visited 20 years ago
