-Sammet good to see your back man now that you and rkrone are watching
over things im more than good to go!
-Mole honestly i lucked out with the clones... thoguht they were goners :joint:

Bagseed Flower Day 53========================================

Wow they seem to grow up so fast. Best shot of the front plant, She smells
sweet/piney and i still have yet to taste but i am beginning to look for
the "usual signs" and its trichs are just turning cloudy so we are looking at
prob around 70 days which is only 2 weeks away... I am using organic nutes
should I begin to feed this plant just water? I know this is necessary for
natural nutes but not sure about organics.

SDxBG Flower Day 24=========================================

Ok so if you block out the front plant you can see the best pic of my rear
plant in the screen. 24 Days and its coated in trichs and well on its way to
forming some lovely nuggs i cant wait to watch this plants buds fill out in the
next few weeks, im glad i was able to clone this plant.:D

SDXBG Vegging Day 5========================================

My clones have graduated to Vegetating plants and are looking good and
healthy. I am trying a deeper bucket this time but no matter what in the end
the roots will end up tangled with the other plant so it seems like i will be
forced to flower these plants in this container... so ill be taking cuttings
before this is placed under the HPS.

Bagseed Day57

Quick update just past 8 weeks, trich shot taken under an HPS so not the
clearest picture but from what i can tell i am beggining to see cloudy, at first
sign of amber on at least more than one shoot i plan to feed this plant water
for 10-14 days and then pull.

SDxBG Flower Day 31

SDxBG Flower Day 31

Overall canopy shot... and on the right some of the shoots in the back right
corner (they dont get pictured enough in most of my pictures.) This is my
first HPS grow and i dont want to get too ahead of myself but i have a little
over 30 main flowers (10 on front 20 on SDxBG) I am hoping for over 3 oz in
the final tally. :D

Close up of a couple of my sour diesel buds filling out nicely both of these are
from the back left of the canopy (again not pictured much before now) If you
make these larger you can catch the twinkle of some trichs. :joint:

Sammet I hear that no more training, or trimming fan leaves just sit back and
enjoy the show, but now i have nothing to do except obsess on trich pics
(not working out too well)

Herbglaze thanks for stoppin in, can only hope you observation is accurate
but i can tell you they are beginning to smell lovelier each day.

I can practically smell them through the screen! Great job, dude. What did you use to take the trichome picture a couple of posts up?

Thanks guys, I'm tryin to keep my cool cause the second i start to get
anxious ill become impateint but i am really excited to give it a puff perhaps a
microwaved pocorn bud is in order?

Chillum from the looks of things you do quite fine without an HPS but its so
fun to see what 150w is capable of!

Also, my leaves are turning yellowish directly under the light so i backed it off
from about 4" to about 8''-9", this wont cause a straetch under HPS will it?

Chillum you asked and i am not sure how other poeple do it but i picked up my
digital cam (which is kinda shitty) for 60 bucks online and everyones fav
growing tool, a radioshack 100x magnifyer with light built in (10 bucks)
Before i attempt to explain this it takes patience, ALOT of it so :joint:

Now with these i have in the past taken clippings off the plant, placed them
on a flat surfrace and holding the camera lined with the scope on a stable flat
surface can usually take like 10pics and get 1 good pic. This is hard so i took
the things i had and devoped a simple idea that allows me to keep the
magnifyer more stable when taking pics (remember at 100x everyone shakes
its all about how stable your hands are too)

My modded magnifyer was constructed with the inner ring (clear portion) of
a CD, i got this out by using a soldering iron to melt this out... the convenant
part is the hole in the middle of the cd fits snugly onto the eyepiece of the
magnifyer (with a little effort) but falls off way too easy. So to secure it in
place i coat the back with hot glue (not the front you want this flat) Then i
attach velcro.

If you love your camera then this isnt really for you but i then applied velcro
to the front of my camera around the lens (check to make sure its not
obstructing the view or that it will tangle when the lens closes) Velcro stays
outta the way. i have an ugly camera, but a removable magnifyer...:D

With practice I have been able to take pictures directly on the plant no need
to search for a leaf with trichs and remove plant parts everytime i want a pic.
This will hold the magnifyer in place, however it needs to be manually
calibrated each use. I find my method to be cost effiecient and if need be
my camera and magnifyer can be returned to their "natural" forms.

yea like it Jim, In the past I've always just tried and balanced the camera on top whilst trying to press the button, hold it all, and hold it on the buds, but your way is much more sensible. Any chance your camera has a white balance on it? Could try to remove the yellowness of the magnifier?

The white balance if set to Incadescent or the little candle symbol should remove some of the yellowness from your photos and make them look more natural. I was just wondering if it might help your trich shots look clearer :)

Cool dog too, is it a Beagle? Awesome little dogs.

Jack Russell Terrier, shes the best, she just goes nuts all the time shes a
little young but still loves to munch on the extra foliage... interesting tidbit if
i hold her up to the nugs she wont eat them but she will go after the leaves
still (I guess trichs are doing their job keeping "predators" away)

Unfortunately for the plants this doesnt apply to me.

The "candlelight" difference - I feel retarded for never using it before but this
is all i got before my camera died hopefully trich pics later
