Vertical method 0,4m2 and 250W HPS?

Hello guys.
I found a lot of information about vertical method (on your www) and I want to try it.
I have 0,4m2 area and I would like to plant 4 feminize seeds to 4x 10 liters bowl. What do you think about it? Is it good idea?
Or maybe I should do it in classic method (horizontal)?

What size light. 0.4m is really really small. Would be tight around a 600, 400 sounds more doable.

Do you mean 600mm x 400mm? I have 550mm x 700mm.
It will be ok? I want to try.
