Nice, Carl. That's exactly how I veg....the lats and stems get so nice and thick with the vert lighting. This run I have been trimming off any back branches as they appear, and now having gone into flower, the plants are structurally better able to gather light. These were by far the least productive branches last run, so I'm expecting improvement there. With the space freed up behind the plants, I put some rabbit fencing individually behind each plant to train and tie them back onto. Just one of a million ways to do it.
Hey Carl...I can't say for sure. It's an interesting thought. I'm not familiar with any hormonal responses it could cause, but it is certainly possible. If you have further thoughts on it, I'd be very interested to hear.
