I have a buddy who is a state trooper, and volunteers for chopper duty every year (he smoked with me back in college years ago). He showed me some video and pics they use to train troopers in looking for MJ. I asked him how they saw a couple of the bust he showed because the plants were hidden (as far as I could tell) pretty well. They were spread out and worked into the surrounding vegetation. His answer....color. He said once you get the color of MJ imprinted into your head, it sticks out like a sore thumb because it is pretty much unique. As he told me this I looked at the pics and realized it was true. Once I looked for the color instead of the shape or size, it stood out. So then the question becomes how to combat this. My first thought is food coloring. In theory if you add some color to the water it should change the color of the plant correct? Even a slight change in color might be enough to camouflage the distinctive color that they are trained to look for. am I crazy? I also wonder how changing the color would effect photosynthesis and growth ect ect.....any thoughts?
