good things come to those who wait. I doubt anything very good can mature at that speed..
So very true. I'm not looking to win the cannabis cup though just weight.

Never said 8 weeks is too long? I've got a 12 plant limit so choosing a fast finishing strain in my perpetual harvest is in my favor. I'm trying to pump out weight with what I have to work with. I have 2 veg cycles and 1 bloom cycle. If I have 8 week strains I will be vegging for 16 weeks which I'm trying to cut down on. I have pulled some bubba kush plants I've grown for a few years at 7 weeks 8 weeks and then 9 weeks with no difference in taste, smell, or size. It even hits the same even though more crystals are amber when pulled later. I've been out the game for awhile. If there isn't a real 6 week strain theres some that come close I'm sure. I grow it right but if theres a shortcut then why not. Most likely not going to be top notch meds but i can get a faster harvest. My point of view.
m39 use to be fast
in my opinion.. the people who are usually bitching about not being able to pull off good harvests yield wise.. are pulling early.. or giving nutes at the WRONG times.. and not maximizing its potential.. not ment to be SAID at ANYONE.. this is just a comment im making.. i see people on the forums bitching about yield.. and then u see there buds.. and there actually not even close to done....
that pineapple skunk looks good.. but me personally id let her go long to see whats up . before making a decision on only allowing it to go to a specific date.. or time frame.
me personally.. ill take a plant as far as i can.. just to see the potential of it.. especially.. alot of the strains i grow.. the smell starts to reallllly kick in the last 2 weeks or so .. only found a few so far that actually finish early.. i am running a clone of Pineapple Express that i traded for 7 months ago.. this is my second run..the first run i pulled when he told me to at 55.. and they looked done at 50.. turned out alright.. everyone really liked it.. then second run its now 66days and the yield and smell are like Double.. so.. looks like its going to 70-75 as long as the trichs dont start to go to amber.. i like as close to Fully Cloudy as i can.. so id rather a few amber.. then some clear....
Here are some shots of Pineapple Skunk on day 40 of 11/13. She is nice smoke anywhere after 40 days(of 11/13), but gets more potent and lazy later on. Even on 12/12 this is a very fast strain. Cindy99 is also nearly as fast. I would even say PS and C99 are related.
I grew the original c-99 and her lemony sister Apollo-11. Those were some of the earliest finishers I have ever grown. Cindy was a solid 8 week strain, Apollo could be pulled at 7 weeks, but 8 was ideal. If your stuff is finishing earlier you are possibly over feeding it phosphorous. I basically always finish up with 11/13, and I think that is very important for every strain, but only the last week. Leave the strains longer and see how much better it is. You will be pleasantly surprised.
