i guess it all depends where your source material comes from. im sure there was more than just one line putting out aromas of skunk. It's getting stinky, but I suspect the real skunky variety came from 89-94 when they bred super skunk.

Very true. In the 80s the people that named it skunk in Europe had never even smelt a skunk before they named it. I feel the roadkill skunky terps come from afghani lineage. My good buddy toured Afghanistan and came up on fields and fields of landrace Afghani that smelled like dead skunk. And when skunk was bred with an Afghani to make super skunk, that's where I think the skunk strain finally matched up with it's name.i guess it all depends where your source material comes from. im sure there was more than just one line putting out aromas of skunk.
skunk#1 is synonymous with fruity smells, so that name/breed is pretty misleading. i think thats half of confusion and dead-ends.
but you never know till you grow them out... goodluck
