Documenting my first grow/microgrow in this thread. Would love any advice, can't wait to meet you all.

PLANT: 1x Scarlet Sunset AUTO

MEDIUM: Soil

TENT: 2'x2.5'x6' in small closet

VENTILATION: still setting up

Failed first two seeds!

Seeds 1 & 2

I rushed seed one. Didn't allow it to sink ~ 6 hours then transferred to wet paper towel inside of sealed glass tupperware on heating pad @ 85F. Sat for ~ 24 hours, then transferred to jiffy pellets. Planted 1 seed length deep. No white hair, my mistake. Has been in pellets ~ 15 days no sprout.

My heating pad malfunctioned on seed 2. I helped my seed sink and after 12 hours I transferred to wet paper towel in tupperware on heating pad @ 85F. It went to 120F and probably killed the seed. However, after 48 hours in paper towel white hair was about 1/4" long. I transferred to jiffy pellet. It has been ~10 days no sprout.

Jiffy Pellets are in humidity dome with temp @ 80-85 and humidity @ in my 50-75%. Small Sprouting light on 16/8.

Continued to fail sprouting seeds

Failed 5 seeds total.

I switched genetics and seeds and immediately began sprouting.

Seed #1 is now a healthy seedling.

Seed #2 sprouted but I accidentally killed it... currently germinating another to take its place.

(new) Seedling #2 has now sprouted and opened its cotyledons. About a week behind seedling #1, which is now in a small seedling bag and growing quite large!
