Trim?

I hate trimming so much 99% of the time I just quckily trim around the edges of the bud and there is leaf still on the bud like below. May not look pretty but it still smoke/smell good. Is there any downside to doing this?

I turn all mine into pills, so its a moot point.

There is no downside to this. In fact the sugar leaves even protect the buds and trichomes on them.
