Decarb and extraction are things I deal with separately
With extraction, frozen quick wash works best for me when
I keep an eye on the time the alcohol is in contact with the cannabis,
and keep it under 30 seconds.
With the decarb, the traditional approach with the chart and watching the
offgassing, always worked well.
The user badkittysmiles came up with an easy means of
countertop decarb done at room temp over four days.
One starts out with a five gram pile of extract, or hash or bho, or rosin, or whatever is at hand.
Put the extract in a small container and add 1/3 of that amount of
citric acid to it. One can use rose hips as well.
Pour a small amount, apple cider vinegar on it, mix it up well.
Let it sit for four days.
On day four, it will be done and ready to use.
This is a nice method. Was an entry in cannapedia describing it, and crediting
badkittysmiles. It was removed.
