Dear ICMag.
My seedlings have just turned two weeks (from soil contact), and I have some problems. They have suffered from underwatering very early (after being planted in a wet soil). I have two problems, very likely to be related.
1. Small white spots have been spotted, on the plants’ leaves; mostly their first true leaves, and less on the second set. The spots glimmer in bright light, such as when using an LED microscope close. 5 out of 9 plants are affected, one is very stunted. Included for identification are two pictures:

2. I have several times found a small golden bug about 1mm long, crawling on leaves. They are pretty small, and only managed to catch a small glimpse under a microscope. They have dark eyes, and they do not fly from my encounters. They are shining, almost as if it is a shell. I have found 4 in all.
I’m pretty sure it is thrips thanks to grandmesajoker from the chat. I would like that confirmed, and as a followup question: I have a hard time finding spinosad containing organic products, and I was wondering if anyone knew if Bio Protect from GHE would kill them easily? I am European, and cannot find any products containing spinosad within range it seems.
Thanks for reading, and any assistance you may be able to lend!
Best Regards
GHUA
