did you have a bad experience with fem seeds mate? However, I will never buy another femmed again, doesnt matter where its comin from.
Dont like the practices used to make femmed seeds. Just totally un-natural. Dont like carrying those abnormalities into my breeding projects.
Primenal- Do a little googling before you go bashing me bro. This is one of the great debates in the seed world, and one you might never win. I might add. But lets take this from square one
Where does is become natural introducing something to the plant, chemical or not, that the plant is not naturally already producing by itself?
As for breeding with the femmed plants, there is no direct proof that it can affect the offspring. HOWEVER, my friends and I have had multiple experiences with breeding femmed seeds. The offspring of some crosses seemed to throw alot, and Im talking about over 30 percent hermies. Then again the offspring of others were fine. More often then not the sativa phenos showed more prone to hermie in these crosses. On the other hand we have taken reg. seeds from the same breeder, same strain, and bred into our genetics with no problems.
Again this is a HIGHLY debated topic and would appreciate my opinion being honored, instead of immedeately bashed bc I dont want femmed seeds. Again Im not saying Im right one way or the other with this topic, but results have been seen from many breeders showing femmed seeds thowing hermied offspring not just my experiences.
Im not trying to take anything away from con's femmed beans bc if I was going from weed to seed, I would run them. They are probably VERY stable and an EXCELLENT choice if someone wants femmed beans. But I wanted these for breeding, and femmed stock are something I stay away from when breeding.
I do honor you opinion on the topic, Primenal. However, you wont convince me your opinion is correct!
And most importantly, Primenal, we should let this thread go back to what it was intended to do and let these people get their names on a list for some GREAT beans!
