PERRO (Planet Earth Rock & Roll Orchestra)
Just been listening to this, wondering if anyone here dug this stuff too?
Hearing Crosby sing, "Is it really Monday? Been smoking Flowers"
made me wonder.
The PERRO sessions revolved around demoing David Crosby's 1st LP @ Wally Heider's studio.
Wally's was the 1st decent studio in SF, and many of the Bay area musicians hung & jammed there.
So you have Jerry playing, demoing 'Loser', along w/ the 1/2 the Dead in tow, 1/2 the Airplane, couple of Santana members, Nash, N. Young, & J. Mitchell.
Smoking dope & jamming.
My fav music blog, Aquarium Drunkard, does a piece on it about every yr. and this yr. they had a download that had some extra tracks to it than I previously had.
If you dig 60's- 70's SF rock, check it out:

In writing about it last wk. AD ran this pic I'd never seen before.
Anybody w/ more info welcome. Wrote this off the top of my head, be sweet.
