History can evolve in ways that suit certain business interests but the article is worth reading because it demonstrates a truth about the cannabis industry. I'll let you decide what that is for yourselves.

I absolutely do take it with a MOUND of salt. I just said it was more likely than some others ive heard. And didnt you post kaulia kids story? How is he a more reliable source? Im not saying he wasnt, just who's to say. And did you even know the source of the info you posted? At least i knew where my source came from, and also, i clearly stated it was THEIR opinion. fwiw
While i really disagree with the direction high times has gone in the last 15 years, and im not a huge fan; i find it absolutely hilarious how quickly most people are to dismiss thier info. They were founded by a renegade smuggler (a true o.g. i might add) and were one of the first publications of its kind. Yet, they dont know shit right?

Not really sure what this has to do with anything.
I will say, for the most part, high times sucks. That said, it was an intresting article, true or not.

I only added that article to add to the discussion and to have more of these "facts". I don't hate on high times, they hate on us, good honest farmers, its just another typical corporation, it just has direct affiliation with something you have strong emotions for. High times prints pretty pictures but does not advance the community or share honest true information. Not claiming its 100% shit, but man I heard how hightimes gets down - grimmey slimeballs.
Its like rosebud - pure marketing for advanced nutrients, not a real true publication spreading love of the subject.
But regarding OG, the truth will most likely never truly surface due to a lack of compromise in the community. And as stated who cares anymore, this shit will go full circle again due to a lack of agreement between everyone, unfortunately - its very intriguing.

Finally the SFV is about to catch the Tahoe, and I predict shell pass right on by leaving Tahoe behind....
I find HT to be a pretty good magazine but you have to realize that they have business interests to pursue like everyone.
Rick from HT was telling me how the whole cannabis industry was spawned by the years of Grateful Dead tours. He said that the dead would pass out seeds saying they would come back to buy the weed. It preceded medical marijuana and events like we have now.
The people at HT are cool. I find Danny Danko's growing tips to be a lot like what I have taught in the past.
They can be helpful and they have been helpful to me by publishing an article awhile back. They titled it "The Notorious Bog".
. They even paid me.
I have been doing some of their events and they are well run but they charge a lot.
All in all I am glad they exist. They are stoners and they do support and encourage our movement in a big way so don't be too critical of them. At least that wasn't my intention.

Cash Rules!! Just the fact that peeps like Arjan, Swerve, and Derry win the Cup every freakin year turns me away from them. The biggest advertisers get the Cup, period! I know peeps chucking crosses outta closets with better quality than all three put together ...hell we all do! $$$ leads to misinformation and High Times is one of the tools that has helped spread these hermie prone genetics to the masses ....forums are another! Thats true, but not as much here as other sites that I won't mention who glorify certain breeders with so called game changing genetics. Good advertising only lasts so long until people start growing genetics out and calling bluffs.

I had the BX1, not running her anymore though, she is super fuely & potent as shiz .....I could get her back but I've been a little busy testing out the crosses I've made, gotta keep my #s in check, especially after I was raided! I'm testing out my Ra's Al Ghul (Ghost OG x LA Affie/Snow Lotus) and Street Star (pre 95 Sensi Star x Straydawg) now, up next are my Ghost OG x Alien Double Dawg, SFV x ADD, and Absolut (Grape Stomper x Straydawg)!!!
