$20 bucks to stand outside,the only seating will be around the speakers stage,lines for portable toilets and $3 bottled water.

I've attended past events at the Cow Palace. It's designed for events,ample parking,restrooms,phones,water fountains,Atm's professional security and vending setups.

A street fair is amateurish compared to a concert style event.
IMO it is sad thing they are downscaling,they put this event on in '08 in the worst days of the recession and made money,now they are going backwards using Eventbrite to self run the event.

The street fair side and the 215 area are larger than last years space.

would you rather they use the douchebags at Live Nation and Ticketmaster?

new social media tools like eventbrite let us all take control instead of being reliant on big corporations.

I really want to go but I have loads of work to do in the garden, and I am playing golf on Sunday. Maybe a Saturday visit is in order. I have a question, how does the cup work? Can I be a judge still? Do you have to be there both days? And how can I get some of this Liquid Oxygen oil? I am an oil connoisseur and need to try this. Judges buy a special badge and get a 5 gallon bucket of samples to judge and a bunch of freebies.
Co-ops all over Cali carry the Mr. Concentrate brand of liquid oxygen wax.

The oil is at the co-ops.
producing it requires special and expensive industrial machinery.

yea you can buy the judges pass for 200 bucks at ACC in san jose....heh funny that they are sponsering you 2 reel i was told to go buy one from them....i think its too late by now though...didnt know you get a whole 5 gal bucket thats pretty cool too bad they dont throw one of of the angels care girls on top as well lmao...

So I didn't see Subcool at all. Not sure if he is only coming Sunday, or not at all. Ken's Granddaddy purple seeds are available for only 50 bucks for 10 from Ken himself. I picked up a pack of those, as he said "they are the most stable seeds in the buisness, garenteed." He said this after I already bought them so I am hopping it isn't just hype. Also, Mother Chuckers and Sancturay seeds were selling beans at the event. That is all I saw, but didn't go asking around.

The event itself is cool. I prefer the Max Yield event to this event, but this event really shows you the different qualities of cannabis out there. I loved the setting in Oakland on a fantastic day. Lots of girls wearing very little cloths always makes things more interesting also.

ReelBusy1 - I didn't see you there.....where were you? You were not with the Nitro oil guys were you? You talked about having oxy oil but I didn't see it anywhere. For anybody else interested the Nitro Oil guys were accepting 20$ donations for a gram of oil, I bought 5 grams.
