Nice buck sprout!!! Mmmmm back straps wrapped in bacon. I love venison sticks too. Did it snow by you? Only a light dusting by me. I could have brought you some big girls to put in your buckets just would have had to wash the dirt off.

Those mule deer Carlos? My dad would go out west elk hunting almost every year. He went mule deer hunting once and got a real nice one. I don't remember how it tasted though. I remember the elk well very good tasting meat. The gristle was like gum though you could chew on it for days.

First order of business... Useful Idiot, I apologize for not responding too
your post, I honestly didn't see it or I would have and for that I'm sorry.
So in response, thanks for following along... lately busy doesn't even begin
too describe it ! I gotta admit I'm get'n a bit worn out, between work and
hunting It's been quit a while since I've gotten a good night sleep. But I'll
have all winter for that, Lol ! I'll be look'n for that friend request...

LyryC, I know right... frick'n pathetic ! That won't last long tho, in fact
they're growing as we speak, the first week is all about root expansion.
With that behind us, I fired up all the lights before I left so I would
expect too see some decent new growth upon my return this weekend.
Thanks for the props on the buck, that's 2 years of plan'n come to
fruition with that particular deer... He "was" a crafty opponent indeed !
Glad you enjoying the GG just make sure you pass her along so others
can feel spoiled as fuck too... it's good too be King, if even for a day !

That's the deal with kids, just start them early and they'll love the
stuff the rest of their lives. Shit I'd love too take you hunting with
me, lotta deer this year up here, of course that's not really unusual.

Alrighty then... and with that last deer, hunting season for me and
my homeboys is complete, tagged out and all the freezers are full !

Guyute, Thanks brotha, absolutely on the back straps and bacon...
I buy very special bacon just for that purpose, it's expensive but
totally worth it. We got a few inches at the farm, about a foot at
my house and over two feet north of the twin cities metro area !
If it ever happen again (shutdown) I'll take you up on that offer...

Wild~man, right on... I used that trick on my girls when they were
younger, now two of them hunt for themselves, like the "old man" !

I just made the 2.5 hour journey home, feels good to be here too.
Snap'd a few pics of the garden, I added two more buckets to the
system... they should fill the void I had down the middle, tho I can
foresee a lot of hands and knees action in my near future, the end
results should be quite rewarding and I'll be near full capacity too !

Dan, that's my plan... man. Not sure I generally go between 25 and 30
days, but that's in the veg room which only has about 650 watts... the
flower rooms run'n 1800 watts so another 20 days and they should be
some burly bitches, stay tuned... same bat time, same bat channel, lol !

Wildgrow, I know right, I give that plant a bad rap... yet it still makes
the cut, perhaps I've been misjudging her all along, shit is mighty tasty !

OK, today I put a few finishing touches on the flower room... tho it's
ever evolving, I can begin too see the final vision I've had in my head
all along. Anyway here a few pics of the entire room, top too bottom.
finished the wings on the lights and insulated the new buckets, also I
test fit the scrog nets and they fit like a glove, now too build two more
so I can double stack them just like all the other "cool kids" do theirs !

Also picked up my cuts from the butcher shop today... this did not go unnoticed by my dogs, lol !

the sausage, vennie sticks and jerky will be another few weeks, I can't wait.

I dont remember you growing with buckets...has it made life easier this way? I made a switch to an under current setup from coco...it has really reduced the amount of work I need to do...I love it

Seriously tho I do try and wear protective glasses when I go In there
as you can get some pretty wicked ricochets now and again, also if you
stand in the right place, it's like a fun house of mirrors, kinda freaky !

budman, when I was a kid my buddy had a "75" ford LTD dragon~wagon...
He hit deer all the time with it, never even dented that "tank" now a days
if you hit a sparrow your cars totaled, don't build them like they used to.


LyryC, the reflectors are from some 2x4 florescent lights like you'd see in
an office Building or perhaps a class room, they're just really shiny ones.
Ya he's handsome, he still shouldn't have his nose on the table... bad dog !


BBHuey, sound like maybe you had a bad experience with venison...
These particular deer feed on corn and soybeans all fall and they
reflect that flavor in the meat, that and I planted food plots with
the exact dietary needs deer require... about 50 acres worth total.
My favorite is the back straps, lil fillet Mignonne and sweet corn.
As for the buckets, I've been rock them for a while now... it's my
version of an ebb and flow with Coco/hydro hybrid thingamajiggy !


Thanks for the props on the room guys... it's family dinner night so I gotta
roll before the kids and grandkids all arrive... momma's give'n me "the look"

GG#4 topped once... so far.

Nightmare D, topped and bush'n out

As you can see, I have two runts... not to sure why but they seemed
to have gotten some Cal/mag deficiencies after I transplanted them ?

The upper half's have begun to green up now and they're beginning too
take off, I'll just avoid topping those two for a while, they'll catch up.
If need be, I'll slip them a couple a "Mickeys" too ensure that happens...

red bottom bad... greener top good.

Lazy days are OK "once" in a while... perhaps, I'll take a nap today,
